ENAMEL MICROARBRASION

Enamel Microabrasion

At Unruh Dental, we understand that dental drills can create dental anxiety in some people. Even those who don’t have an overwhelming fear of the drill typically don’t like it either. Because of this, we use enamel microabrasion to treat decay whenever possible.

During enamel microabrasion, a pressurized stream of aluminum oxide powder is directed onto your teeth, removing decay and fissures. Microabrasion is also painless – in fact, the majority of patients need no anesthesia!
